Typical applications
Packaging
Bar is supplied in polyethylene sleeving inside seaworthy wooden crates, with VCI paper, end caps and edge protection. Bundles are strapped and labelled with heat number, grade and dimension. Crates are fumigation-free and compliant with ISPM 15 for all major import markets.
Standard bundle weight 500–1,500 kg. Palletised, customer-barcoded and container-loading plans available on request.
Frequently asked questions
What titanium bar grades can you supply?
Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12 and 23, covering commercially pure and alloyed titanium. Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) and other ELI grades are available on request. If you need a property rather than a grade name, tell us the service condition and we will match it.
What diameter range is available?
Round bar from 3 mm to 350 mm diameter, in straight lengths of 1,000 mm to 6,000 mm or cut to order. Square, hexagonal and flat bar are also supplied. Ground bar holds a tolerance of ±0.05 mm; hot rolled bar is held to ±0.5%.
Which standards does the bar meet?
ASTM B348 AMS 4928 AMS 4911 ASTM F136, depending on grade.
Is a mill test certificate supplied?
Yes. Every lot ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and the heat number on the certificate traces back to the sponge batch. If your quality department needs to approve the paperwork first, send the intended grade and heat-number format and we will issue a sample certificate.
Who performs the testing?
Chemical composition, tensile, hardness, microstructure and ultrasonic inspection are performed by a partner laboratory. Dye penetrant and radiography are subcontracted to a NADCAP-approved facility.
How is the bar packed for export?
In polyethylene sleeving inside seaworthy wooden crates, with VCI paper, end caps and edge protection. Bundles are strapped and labelled with heat number, grade and dimension. Crates are fumigation-free and compliant with ISPM 15. Standard bundle weight is 500 to 1,500 kg.
How quickly will I get a price?
Send the grade, dimensions and quantity and we reply with a price within one working day. Drawings, purchase order drafts and target certificates are all welcome, and we read them before quoting.
